Workplace Romance... Tempting? Taboo? Exactly WHAT is Your Body Language Saying at Work?

Ooh, Workplace Romance.. Participating? Considering? Throwing out some serious body language to get one going? Yes, this topic just never looses heat (as with most topics on on jealousy and envy).

So are workplace relationships really as bad as what people always say?

Personally think that it's getting harder and harder to prohibit co-workers from engaging in a little paid workplace romance... Seriously, recent surveys show that the more people work, the more they find their mates at the work place, since they have less time for bars, social events, etc. Where can employers safely draw the line nowadays?

Is a workplace romance really as bad as what people always say? We spend a lot of our time at work, and tend to have a lot in common at work. I've noticed that some couples have met at work and ended up getting married.

i think that work relationship are just fine as long as you act professional while at work - like don't act like you are a couple because at work you are coworkers. So go for it, just remember that if the guy is higher up than u in the company and you have a bad break up, things might get messy for you

It can be tricky, but worth it. My boyfriend and I met at work. He is the best boyfriend I've ever had, and we just moved in together. If we wouldn't have given it a chance, we would've missed out on something really great. So far working together hasn't been a problem. We are friendly to each other at work, but also kinda try to do our own thing when we're there. We figure we spend enough time with each other outside of work that we're not too concerned with talking to each other a lot while we're there. It seems to work for us. Another thing is that both people have to be secure in the relationship and not get jealous if a coworker is talking to/ being friendly with your boyfriend/girlfriend.
