"Relationship Woes"

I met a lady on a dating site that I really like very much. Within 3 weeks, she has moved in with me. She has her own room and bathroom.

It has been close to 3 months and we have not intimately kiss nor held hands. She said it takes a long time before she is ready for a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. Maybe anywhere from 6 months to a year.

She has lots of male friends and I overheard a phone conversation where she told the person on the other line, how much she misses him, she loves him, and no one has touched her in a year except for him.

My question is: Is she really telling me the truth? Am I being used? Is it normal for a real relationship to "kick" in after a year?
